Help Us, Grow Local

Sustainable Glasgow INC was established by a group of concerned citizens in 2008, who felt that the local economy of our region was worth investing in. We have been diligently working ever since to ensure that future generations will be able to grow up in a community we are proud of. We are building quite the reputation through many of our local events. Your family will love our fresh options brought straight to our town square during Sustainable Glasgow's Bounty of the Barrens Farmer's Market. Or maybe next time you will be sure to attend one of our Shindigs on the Square, eat a locally sourced meal at our annual Local Hog Roast or try your chance at winning a gold medal in our Homegrown 5K. But these are only the tip of the iceberg of what we can provide for our community. We are a small business incubator for local producers and care about the health and quality of life of our community. Help us educate the region on the importance of local and what it truly means to sustain community.

We need your support! Tell others about what you are attending and share it on our Facebook page. Spend locally and help us sustain Glasgow's economy. Last year, we kept over $200,000 right here in Glasgow through the Bounty of the Barrens alone. We are a grassroots 501-C3 non-profit tax exempt organization that runs solely on grants and donations from our ever supportive community. We need donations of any size to help us stay active and relevant in helping Glasgow and Barren County to grow into the community we want our children to be raised in.
