Cultivate the Economy with Community

Sustainable Glasgow was established by a group of concerned citizens in 2008 who felt that the local economy of our region was worth investing in. We have been diligently working ever since to ensure that future generations will be able to grow up in a community we are proud of. Your family will love our fresh food options brought straight to the downtown square through Sustainable Glasgow's Bounty of the Barrens Farmer's Market. Be sure to attend one of our Shindigs on the Square, eat a locally sourced meal at our annual Local Hog Roast, or try your chance at winning a gold medal in our Homegrown 5K.

These are only the tip of the iceberg of what we can provide for our community. We are a small business incubator for local producers and care about the health and quality of life for everyone in our community. Help us educate the region on the importance of local and what it truly means to sustain community.

We need your support! Tell others about what you're attending and share it on our Facebook page. Spend locally and help us energize Glasgow's economy. Last year alone, we kept over $200,000 right here in Glasgow through the Bounty of the Barrens alone. We are a grassroots 501c3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization that runs solely on grants and donations from our ever supportive community. We need donations of any size to help us stay active and relevant as we continue to help Glasgow and Barren County grow into the community we want for our children.
