Bounty of the Barrens

Fresh produce grown locally right here in Barren county - Sustainable Glasgow

Bounty of the Barrens (BOTB) Farmers’ Market promotes the development of diversified family-sized farms in our region. We are a Kentucky Proud market that intends to provide an attractive environment for the sale of locally grown produce, locally produced food products, and Kentucky crafts. This is one of many avenues we take to sustain local food in Glasgow.

From administering BOTB farmers’ market to lobbying for the preservation and growth of local small farm businesses to working with local schools to implement Edible Schoolyards, to working tirelessly to educate our community on the health and enjoyment benefits of eating local food, we intend to make the regional food economy vibrant, profitable and a unique feature to the community.
